Role Overview
As a Grounds & Maintenance Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the park’s overall cleanliness, appearance, and operational condition, ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for all guests and staff.
Key Duties
- Carry out daily duties to keep the park tidy, clean, and well-kept.
- Maintain and clean onsite facilities, including amenities, camp kitchens, and play areas.
- Perform landscaping activities such as mowing, gardening, and litter collection.
- Conduct repairs and routine upkeep on accommodations and other park infrastructure.
- Oversee the management and upkeep of all park tools and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols rigorously to maintain a secure environment.
- Address guest requests promptly and courteously.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in groundskeeping or similar maintenance roles.
- Proficient in general building and grounds maintenance operations.
- Strong eye for detail to uphold safety standards and visual appeal.
- Competent in operating groundskeeping machines and power tools safely.
- Effective time management skills with adaptability to a 7-day work roster.
- Trade qualification is an advantage.
- Experience in pool maintenance is beneficial.
- Possession of a current and valid driver’s license is mandatory.
Additional Requirements and Information
- Applicants must obtain a Federal Police Clearance before employment.
- Role involves significant physical tasks, including lifting items up to 20kg, kneeling, squatting, chemical handling, and operating machinery.
