About the Role

This full-time Ground Crew position is located at Franz Josef Glacier on the West Coast of New Zealand. The role involves a diverse range of responsibilities including monitoring flight operations, loading helicopters, providing shuttle van transportation, and managing both customer inquiries and bookings. A primary focus is placed on ensuring rigorous health and safety standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track helicopter flights for safety and operational efficiency.
• Handle loading and unloading of helicopters to ensure timely departures and arrivals.
• Operate courtesy vans to provide safe transportation for customers.
• Respond professionally to general inquiries and process bookings.
• Uphold strict health and safety protocols throughout daily operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated strength in logistics and analytical problem-solving.
• Reliability, strong work ethic, and a drive to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Flexibility with working hours to support operational needs.
• Experience or knowledge in health and safety is advantageous, though comprehensive training will be provided.
• A current, clean driver’s license; confidence in driving both manual and automatic vehicles is preferred.
• Applicants must be either New Zealand citizens or possess a valid work visa.
