Position Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a Grocery Associate offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your retail and customer service capabilities. This role involves delivering outstanding service by embracing Walmart's core principles, maintaining the grocery department's presentation, and facilitating the stocking and selling of products.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the grocery department effectively.
• Manage stock rotation and inspect products for expiration.
• Verify proper signage and pricing on all merchandise.
• Follow all food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning protocols diligently.
• Adhere to procedures regarding ordering, clearance sales, pricing adjustments, labeling, and product flagging.
• Ensure the department remains fully stocked and prepared for business operations.
• Comply with Health and Safety standards consistently.
• Handle merchandise stocking, picking, downstocking as necessary, apply product protection, and set up modular displays including flexible modulars and new shelf caps.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $17.75 per hour.
