Job Overview
As a telehealth General Practitioner, you will serve patients via video consultations, providing a comprehensive range of GP services. This part-time, remote position is open to New Zealand-registered GPs interested in flexible scheduling that fits around existing commitments. You choose your shifts and can work from anywhere geographically suitable, provided patient privacy is ensured.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out clinical assessments and general consultations through secure video calls.
- Prescribe treatments where appropriate and provide follow-up care as needed.
- Maintain clear and accurate medical records in line with MCNZ telehealth standards.
Requirements
- Hold a current general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) and an up-to-date Annual Practising Certificate.
- Possess valid medical indemnity insurance.
- Have at least two years of experience working in general practice, with strong clinical decision-making skills.
- Reliable access to a computer, internet connection, and a confidential environment for video consultations.
