Job Overview

As a telehealth General Practitioner, you will serve patients via video consultations, providing a comprehensive range of GP services. This part-time, remote position is open to New Zealand-registered GPs interested in flexible scheduling that fits around existing commitments. You choose your shifts and can work from anywhere geographically suitable, provided patient privacy is ensured.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out clinical assessments and general consultations through secure video calls.
Prescribe treatments where appropriate and provide follow-up care as needed.
Maintain clear and accurate medical records in line with MCNZ telehealth standards.

Requirements

Hold a current general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) and an up-to-date Annual Practising Certificate.
Possess valid medical indemnity insurance.
Have at least two years of experience working in general practice, with strong clinical decision-making skills.
Reliable access to a computer, internet connection, and a confidential environment for video consultations.
