Job Overview
The General Manager role requires overseeing a profitable restaurant while ensuring adherence to McDonald's high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. This leadership position involves collaborating with leadership to establish restaurant goals and devising strategies to meet those objectives.
Team Leadership
The General Manager supervises and supports Department Managers by helping them set goals, monitoring their progress, and providing coaching to enhance departmental and overall restaurant performance. Hiring and developing both Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team is also part of the role.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Preferred candidates have prior experience managing high-volume locations, particularly within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail environments. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to hold a managerial role in corporate McDonald's restaurants.
