Overview

This opportunity is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and products. The franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald's USA, which means it alone handles all employment decisions such as hiring, discipline, and scheduling. McDonald's USA does not receive your application or have a role in hiring decisions.

About the Role

The General Manager oversees the restaurant’s profitability while ensuring adherence to McDonald’s high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This is a leadership role that requires collaboration with Department Managers to set goals, monitor performance, and coach staff to improve their departments and thus overall restaurant success.

The General Manager is also responsible for recruiting and developing managerial staff including Department and Shift Managers to maintain a strong management team for the future.

Candidate Profile

Ideal applicants have prior General Manager experience running busy quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail environments. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to manage corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants.
