Key Responsibilities

• Execute avionics inspections, troubleshooting, and component repairs within a shop setting
• Possibly work directly on aircraft systems as needed
• Maintain proficiency in accurately completing all required documentation and paperwork
• Repair various avionics and electronic components
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid unrestricted driver's license is mandatory
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, component maintenance manuals, and aircraft manuals for troubleshooting
• Basic avionics skills with competent use of technical manuals
• Sound judgment and ability to work efficiently in team environments concerning aircraft maintenance and safety
• Possession of the required set of tools for the role
• Must hold or obtain FCC GROL license within six months of hire
• Education or experience satisfying at least one of the following:
  • Graduation from an accredited avionics school
  • Military avionics or electronics training
  • Associate degree or higher in electronics
  • Minimum 18 months experience in avionics industry
  • A&P certification combined with previous avionics experience

Physical and Other Requirements

• Routine lifting of up to 60 pounds, with or without accommodation
• Role classified as Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position
