Full-Stack Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview

Red Alpha Cybersecurity is seeking Full-Stack Infrastructure Engineers to develop, implement, and sustain secure and reliable infrastructure across LAN, WAN, and cloud platforms. This role involves both project tasks and routine operations to maintain critical systems, with growth pathways into advanced networking, infrastructure, and cybersecurity roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and firewall architectures.
• Configure and administer network devices such as Cisco and Fortinet routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and assist in remediation across network layers.
• Troubleshoot network performance issues ensuring high system availability.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define system requirements and propose architectural solutions.
• Plan, implement, and monitor IT infrastructure setups and upgrades, covering on-premises and virtualized environments.
• Administer and maintain Windows, Unix/Linux servers, virtual machines, and databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and promptly respond to system alerts and incidents.
• Ensure operational systems comply with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Engage in change management, disaster recovery, and patch management processes.

Desired Skills and Knowledge

• Mandatory CCNA certification; CCNP preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server, Linux/Unix operating systems, and virtual machine environments.
• Fundamental understanding of databases including SQL Server and Oracle.
• Practical experience with networking hardware like Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Knowledge of system hardening, patch management, and ITIL-based operations.
• Exposure to security appliances and tools for vulnerability scanning and network monitoring activities.

Additional Information

Selected applicants will complete a fully sponsored 10-week on-the-job training including an allowance, before committing to a full-time deployment of three years.
