Frontend Engineer (Tailwind)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Frontend Engineer specializing in Tailwind CSS to join our team on a remote contract basis. This role requires developing and maintaining responsive, scalable web interfaces using React fused with Tailwind CSS, ensuring the end-user experience is seamless and visually precise.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy robust and responsive web interfaces leveraging React and Tailwind CSS frameworks.
• Guarantee pixel-perfect implementation aligned with design specifications and maintain a scalable design system.
• Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams including designers and backend developers to provide a cohesive user experience.
• Identify and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks by applying industry best practices.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of UI architecture and component libraries.
• Advocate for and implement accessibility and usability standards to ensure inclusive product delivery.

Requirements

• Extensive experience creating complex frontend applications using React and JavaScript.
• Advanced proficiency in Tailwind CSS, with a strong focus on scalable and responsive design systems.
• Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques.
• Proven ability to produce highly accurate, pixel-perfect user interfaces reflective of design requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for remote collaboration.
• Demonstrated history of building accessible, maintainable web applications.

Additional Details

• Contract position with a weekly commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours.
• Compensation ranges between $30 and $90 per hour.
• The role is fully remote, based in Canada but open to remote work.
