Role Overview

The Food Server position available at IBIS hotel in Doha, Qatar is a full-time, on-premises role requiring direct interaction with guests and operational support in the food and beverage area. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, offering menus, accurately capturing orders, and promptly delivering food and drinks. The role also involves preparing and tidying tables, maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards in the dining space, and collaborating closely with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy.

The Food Server will address guest questions and special needs, provide menu suggestions, adhere to safety and hygiene regulations, handle payment transactions, assist with buffet or event setups when needed, and support overall food service operations to guarantee high standards of service.

Key Qualifications

• Excellent customer service ability, providing polite and attentive interaction with guests.
• Familiarity or experience with food and beverage service and general food operations.
• Strong communication skills for effective guest engagement and teamwork.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen or cooking processes to facilitate coordination of orders and special requests.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
