Role Overview

Join JW Marriott, a part of Marriott International's luxury collection, as a Food and Beverage Hostess located in Doha, Qatar. This role supports exceptional guest experiences by warmly greeting visitors, efficiently managing seating arrangements, and maintaining the ambiance of the dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival and ascertain party size for seating arrangements.
• Escort patrons to appropriate tables, ensuring seats are pulled out and menus are placed with care.
• Assist guests in navigating the dining rooms and accommodate special seating needs.
• Maintain table settings, ensuring availability of clean silverware, napkins, and other dining essentials.
• Check menus regularly to confirm they are current, clean, and in satisfactory condition.
• Keep work areas tidy throughout the shift, applying clean-as-you-go standards.
• Continuously observe dining area for seating capacity, guest service, and overall safety.
• Adhere strictly to all safety and security protocols, reporting any incidents or hazards to management promptly.
• Present a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality and company asset protection.
• Use clear and courteous verbal communication, including telephone etiquette.
• Foster positive teamwork by supporting colleagues and addressing employee concerns appropriately.
• Meet quality standards and assist with other duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Handle light physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 10 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior related work experience or supervisory experience required.
• No licenses or certifications necessary.
