About the Role
Tata Elxsi is inviting applications for an experienced Flutter Developer with 5 to 12 years in mobile app development. The successful applicant will design, develop, and maintain robust mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms using Flutter and Dart, delivering scalable, high-quality user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, test, and support mobile apps utilizing Flutter and Dart for cross-platform deployment.
- Create responsive, reusable UI elements compatible across Android and iOS devices.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services to enhance app functionality.
- Implement effective state management techniques such as Bloc, Provider, Riverpod, or GetX in apps.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, security, and reliability of mobile apps throughout development and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain compliance with coding standards and best practices.
- Address production issues via thorough root cause analysis and corrective measures.
- Oversee application release processes and deployment to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, UI/UX designers, QA personnel, and backend developers.
- Contribute to automation and management of CI/CD pipelines to streamline releases.
- Keep abreast of the latest technology trends and advancements in mobile development.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in Flutter and Dart with multiple project experiences.
- Hands-on experience in building and launching Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of REST API integration and JSON data handling.
- Expertise in state management solutions including Bloc, Provider, Riverpod, or GetX.
- Familiarity with mobile application architectural patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Ability to develop responsive UI designs and optimize app performance.
- Experience with Firebase services like push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting.
- Version control competence, primarily with Git.
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD systems and app release management.
- Skills in debugging, profiling, and optimizing mobile applications.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Native Android programming in Kotlin or Java.
- Native iOS development using Swift or Objective-C.
- Integration experience with GraphQL.
- Working knowledge of local databases such as SQLite, Hive, or Realm.
- Capability in unit, widget, and integration testing for mobile apps.
- Understanding of mobile security best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Fastlane.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) for app deployment or backend services.
- Background in enterprise-level mobile app projects.
- Proficiency in production support, crash analytics, monitoring, and bug fixing.
