Role Overview

The Fleet Manager will oversee daily operations of the delivery fleet, ensuring the efficient management of riders, timely resolution of operational challenges, and maintenance of delivery targets. Collaboration with operations and maintenance teams is essential to enhance rider performance and ensure adherence to company policies and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily tasks and activities of delivery riders.
• Organize rider shifts, track attendance, and manage manpower distribution to meet operational demands.
• Evaluate rider performance, productivity, and punctuality, applying corrective measures as warranted.
• Address operational escalations and customer complaints by conducting root cause analyses and implementing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, RTA rules, UAE traffic legislation, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate regular servicing and maintenance of bikes to ensure fleet readiness.
• Collaborate with operations teams to improve rider deployment and order dispatch efficiency.
• Monitor delivery outcomes, ensuring operational KPIs and service standards are consistently met.
• Verify that riders are properly equipped with uniforms and safety equipment prior to deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience managing fleets or riders within last-mile logistics.
• Familiarity with last-mile delivery and dark store operational environments.
• Practical experience managing escalations and compiling root cause analysis documentation.
• Competence in shift scheduling, manpower allocation, and deployment strategies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and operational reporting software.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational setting.
• Analytical mindset, organizational skills, and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and solid knowledge of UAE regulatory framework.
