Position Summary

This full-time, on-site role situated in Abu Dhabi involves managing the day-to-day operations of fleet vehicles and heavy equipment. Key duties encompass scheduling, deployment, resource monitoring, and ensuring maintenance standards by coordinating with workshop teams. The supervisor will uphold compliance with safety and regulatory standards, oversee drivers and operators, review operational performance, manage incident reporting, and enhance workflow efficiency. Collaboration with project managers and logistics personnel is essential to synchronize equipment availability with project schedules and budget constraints.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership abilities for supervising teams, guiding drivers and equipment operators, and monitoring performance.
• Strong skills in fleet and operations management, including coordination of fleet movements, scheduling, and optimization of productivity.
• Proficient analytical capabilities to assess operational data, track KPIs, identify challenges, and suggest actionable solutions.
• Effective communication aptitude for clear reporting, internal coordination, and providing instructions to field teams.
• Relevant background in fleet management, heavy equipment operations, or logistics, preferably within construction, oil and gas, or related sectors.
• Familiarity with safety protocols, preventive maintenance, and fundamental mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery.
• Ability to operate onsite in Abu Dhabi, adapt to shifting priorities, and function in a fast-paced, project-centric environment.
• Educational qualifications such as a diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, operations management, or related disciplines are preferred.
• Minimum of over 5 years' experience managing fleet and heavy equipment.
