Role Purpose

The Financial Analyst will coordinate budgeting processes in both English and Japanese, construct financial models and forecasts of operational plans assessing revenue, profits, and cash flow outcomes. This role involves managing unique projects, liaising with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) headquarters, the CFO, and President/CEO on financial matters such as consolidated profits and cash flow forecasting, fostering strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and delivering expert financial guidance aligned with the company's priorities. This position reports directly to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budget planning and financial forecasting efforts supporting strategic planning
• Create financial simulations to analyze various scenarios
• Generate reports detailing profits by vehicle model
• Develop cash flow analyses and projection reports
• Conduct complex financial modeling using multiple planning scenarios
• Collaborate continuously with MMC headquarters in Japan and internal departments to manage requests and inquiries, ensuring financial operations align with corporate goals and optimize efficiency
• Assist with annual compensation cycles and prepare documentation for Delegation of Authority approvals
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in corporate accounting
• A degree in Accounting or Finance, near completion of a recognized accounting program, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Fluency in both English and Japanese languages
