Role Overview

• Complete and finalize work-in-progress schedules to ensure timely project closures.
• Lead monthly forecasting reviews for projects, guaranteeing precise project-level and district-wide financial reports.
• Collaborate closely with project teams and district leaders to proactively detect risks, enabling dependable financial reporting for decision-making.
• Assist district leadership in both operational and financial annual planning.
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through ongoing support, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track district key performance indicators to spot issues and implement effective solutions.
• Support all accounting and operational procedures, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Provide consistent coaching and training to both accounting and operations personnel.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in construction project accounting or public accounting.
• A degree in Accounting or Finance; holding a CPA designation is advantageous.
• Experience working within or providing services to the construction industry, preferably with a general contractor or construction management firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI and data query tools is a plus.
• Strong skills in communication, organization, and problem-solving.

Hiring Process Transparency

Compensation

The expected salary range is between 105000 and 130000 CAD annually, varying based on experience. The role also includes a competitive bonus program. Salary specifics will be discussed during the interview process to align with candidate experience.
