Finance Analyst

Overview

We seek a Finance Analyst passionate about finance, data analysis, and technology to join our vibrant Technology Finance team. This role involves supporting several key financial functions such as reporting, budgeting, managing asset lifecycles, and driving initiatives related to finance technology.

Primary Responsibilities

• Compile and evaluate PR/GR and other financial reports utilizing SAP along with other enterprise systems.
• Manage invoice payments, ensuring expenses related to technology are reconciled promptly.
• Maintain thorough and accurate financial records, ensuring consistency and integrity across systems.
• Collaborate with senior technology leaders to oversee and refine budget usage for IT operations and projects.
• Assist with the renewal and budget planning for software and hardware contracts.
• Support project budget management by tracking expenditures relative to forecasts and highlighting any discrepancies.
• Generate monthly financial dashboards and provide actionable insights for the Technology Finance team.
• Manage IT asset administration, including inventory monitoring, equipment distribution, and the decommissioning process for laptops and other hardware.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and audit standards.
• Handle miscellaneous finance and asset-related tasks as delegated by the Technology Finance Lead.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a closely related discipline.
• Two to three years’ finance experience in technology-centric settings, financial services, or consulting; fresh graduates with significant internship experience may also apply.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience in finance process enhancements or automation is advantageous.
• Exposure to Project Management Office support, technology, or banking-related projects is beneficial.
