Overview
Join U-Haul as a Facility Housekeeper where your organizational skills and attention to detail play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role supports the high standards of service by ensuring the facility is well-kept and inviting to customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping tasks across storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other facility areas.
- Manage the disposal of trash regularly.
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies inventory, replenishing stock as necessary.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by supervisors as part of daily duties.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt.
- Initiative and self-motivation to perform duties independently.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The role involves exposure to moderate risks requiring safety measures such as using protective clothing and equipment like masks, gloves, goggles, or shields. Physically, the job demands endurance for extended periods of standing, capability to move and position oneself to reach various heights, and the strength to handle equipment weighing at least 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
