Job Responsibilities

• Perform a range of maintenance and repair work on residential and commercial properties, focusing on small to medium projects.
• Communicate with customers clearly to explain needed work, manage expectations on scope and costs, and build trust.
• Deliver outstanding service that fosters long-term customer relationships by following a proven process known as the Mr. Handyman Way.
• Work independently without direct supervision, managing your own schedule and tasks effectively.
• Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service, requesting reviews, and handling payments.
• Use and maintain necessary tools and technology, including company-provided devices.
• Document completed work thoroughly according to company procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols by wearing proper personal protective equipment and using booties to protect clients' homes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Reside locally within the Greenville, SC area.
• Possess at least 8 years of paid handyman or carpentry experience.
• Own your tools necessary for the trade.
• Have a valid driver's license with insurability for driving company vehicles.
• Pass a background and driving record check successfully.
• Be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
• Safely perform tasks at heights and overhead work for extended durations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and keep the company vehicle clean and well-maintained.

Expertise is expected in at least three of these areas:

• Carpentry
• Bathroom and kitchen renovations
• Interior and exterior painting
• Drywall repairs ranging from minor to major
• Basic plumbing and electrical tasks within legal limits
• Floor installation and restoration
• Familiarity with applicable building codes
