About the Role

Join the Nando's PERi-PERi team as an Expeditor, taking on a key position that connects our kitchen to customers. Expeditors ensure timely preparation of orders that meet company standards and reach the correct customers. This role includes preparing and packaging take-out orders, acting as the final point of contact for take-out guests. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, professional, polite, and dependable. You will collaborate with the team to consistently exceed guest expectations and deliver the signature Nando's experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt preparation and accurate delivery of customer orders.
• Package take-out orders carefully, maintaining quality and presentation.
• Serve as the last interaction point for take-out customers, providing excellent service.
• Maintain professionalism and politeness while working efficiently under pressure.

Requirements and Expectations

• Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Capacity to remain calm and perform efficiently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Dedication to quality service with fundamental food and beverage knowledge.
• Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols.
• Basic proficiency in English and professional communication skills.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift items up to 15 pounds repeatedly over long periods.
• Capability to stand, walk, and climb stairs carrying food and dishes continuously during shifts.
• Must tolerate standing or walking for 8 to 10 hours daily.
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical agility including reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting overhead.
• Ability to navigate staircases in multi-level restaurant settings.
