Position Overview

We are seeking a Research Analyst with a minimum of three years of relevant experience to expand our research team. The role involves developing fundamental research to support our subscription-based data products, ideally suited for candidates with backgrounds in buy-side or sell-side equity research, management consulting, or data-driven business trend analysis. Experience in consumer or consumer technology sectors is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, data-driven research, interpreting datasets to deliver actionable insights.
• Apply advanced SQL queries to perform granular analyses including cohort, concentration, penetration, and competitor evaluations.
• Partner with data teams to innovate and develop new research products and features.
• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with major investors subscribing to our services.
• Collaborate with Sales, Client Strategy, and Marketing teams to effectively position and communicate the value of our products during client engagements and media appearances.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Possesses over three years of experience in equity research or management consulting-style analytical writing.
• Strong background in equity research or business analysis with an enthusiasm for data-supported fundamental investing.
• Demonstrates eagerness to acquire new technology skills and coding proficiency in a learning-driven environment.
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related disciplines.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive base salary approximately $150,000 annually, supplemented by a target bonus of 15% and equity participation. Individual offers vary based on qualifications and internal benchmarks.

Additional Information

This position supports remote work within the United States, including New York City and other office hubs.
