ఉద్యోగ వివరణ
Position Overview
We are looking for an innovative and precise Environment Artist to craft engaging and immersive 3D worlds for games, films, or interactive media platforms. This role centers on designing high-quality 3D environments, including landscapes and assets, that bolster storytelling and enhance the user's experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce detailed 3D environments covering terrains, architectures, props, and scenic elements.
- Transform concept art into polished assets ready for in-engine deployment.
- Optimize environmental elements to ensure smooth performance without sacrificing visual quality.
- Collaborate closely with level designers to align environments with gameplay mechanics and narrative flow.
- Apply textures, lighting, and materials to create the intended artistic style.
- Utilize leading industry software such as Unreal Engine, Unity, Blender, Maya, and 3ds Max.
- Ensure designs adhere to established art directions and project guidelines.
- Diagnose and fix technical or visual complications promptly.
- Engage in design reviews and refine work based on constructive feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Game Art, 3D Design, Animation, or an equivalent professional background.
- Between 2 to 5 or more years of professional experience in environment art for games, film, or real-time applications.
- Robust portfolio highlighting environment creation and 3D asset development.
- Skilled in software tools like Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter/Designer, combined with experience in game engines such as Unreal or Unity.
- Solid understanding of lighting techniques, color theory, composition, and spatial design.
- Familiarity with optimization strategies geared toward real-time rendering.
- Knowledge of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflows and asset pipeline processes.
