Opportunity Overview

This entry-level Staff Accountant position offers a foundation-building role within a scaling enterprise, providing interaction with leadership and external certified public accountants. The role is structured for long-term career progression, including increasing responsibilities like month-end closing, financial reporting, and potential leadership roles in accounting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processes and maintain vendor relations.
• Reconcile expenses and credit card transactions using Brex.
• Support travel and expense report processing through Navan.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flows.
• Ensure precise financial coding within the NetSuite ERP platform.
• Assist with monthly close activities alongside leadership and external CPA.
• Prepare journal entries and accruals as experience grows.
• Keep documentation orderly and audit-compliant.
• Spot and suggest improvements for procedural efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or near completion.
• Solid grasp of fundamental accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Interest or experience with ERP systems; familiarity with NetSuite is advantageous.
