About the Role

bEdge Tech Services seeks a dedicated Entry-Level Data Analyst to join their team remotely within the United States. Key Responsibilities

Gather, cleanse, and prepare both structured and unstructured data sets.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to detect trends and patterns.
Develop and validate fundamental machine learning models.
Create visual data representations and build dashboards.
Compose SQL queries for data extraction and validation purposes.
Work collaboratively with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
Document processes, findings, and outcomes of models.
Assist with the deployment and monitoring of predictive models at a foundational level.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or relevant fields.
0 to 2 years of practical experience; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
Proficient in Python programming including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Scikit-learn.
Sound understanding of statistical methods and probability, including hypothesis testing and distributions.
Experienced with SQL, particularly joins and aggregations.
Basic grasp of machine learning concepts and methods.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, with conversational English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

Internship or academic experience in data science or analytics.
Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Exposure to deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Basic knowledge of data pipelines and big data tools such as Spark.

Additional Information

Compensation ranges between $72,000 and $93,000 annually. This is a full-time remote position targeting candidates located within the United States. The ideal candidate demonstrates potential to grow proficiency in Tableau and cloud technologies.
