English Teacher

Role Overview

We seek a dedicated English Teacher to deliver stimulating lessons following the Cambridge International A-Level curriculum. The successful candidate will craft lesson plans, prepare teaching materials, and deliver assessments tailored to enhance student learning experiences.

Key Duties

• Plan and conduct engaging A-Level English classes consistent with the Cambridge curriculum.
• Create educational resources and assessments to support academic progress.
• Track and evaluate student performance, offering constructive and prompt feedback.
• Ready students for internal and Cambridge A-Level examinations.
• Establish and nurture an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
• Offer academic guidance and emotional support to students as needed.
• Contribute in curriculum development, attend school events, liaise with parents, and engage in professional growth opportunities.
• Fulfill additional instructional tasks as required by the institution.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field; having a postgraduate teaching credential is a plus.
• At least two years of teaching experience at the A-Level, IGCSE, IB, JC, or an equivalent international curriculum.
• Familiarity with Cambridge A-Level syllabus and examination criteria is advantageous.
• Strong classroom management abilities, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A passion to educate and inspire students effectively.
• Fluent in English; bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred.
