Role Overview

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee multiple high-performing engineering teams within Omnea. This leadership role involves managing between 12 to 20 engineers across 2 to 3 teams, ensuring technical excellence and steering pivotal architectural choices. The position requires close collaboration with product leadership to drive a rapidly evolving engineering culture at a fast-growth Series B startup.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor 2-3 teams totaling 12-20 engineers, nurturing a culture of technical quality and continuous growth.
• Collaborate with Product and Design leaders to shape technical roadmaps and consistently deliver high-caliber solutions aligned with growth objectives.
• Guide significant architectural decisions and enhance scalable engineering processes across areas including Accounting, Insights, and Workflow Orchestration.

Qualifications and Ideal Experience

• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 3 years managing multiple engineering teams concurrently in high-growth settings.
• Demonstrated success in expanding engineering operations within Series A and beyond B2B SaaS companies, particularly with expertise in distributed systems and cloud-based architecture.
• A data-oriented leadership style, capable of making informed decisions despite incomplete data, and a history of effectively scaling engineering talent rapidly.

Location

This position is based in London, United Kingdom and requires onsite presence.

• Salary range is £120,000 to £160,000 annually, supplemented with equity options.
