Job Overview
The ELV Draftsman role involves creating precise and comprehensive shop drawings, as-built drawings, and schematic diagrams specifically for ELV systems with a focus on CCTV installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate detailed and accurate shop and as-built drawings along with schematic diagrams for ELV systems focusing on CCTV technology.
- Design CCTV system layouts including camera placements, cable pathways, equipment racks, and network schematics aligned with project needs.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure that all drawings adhere to project specifications and Ministry of Interior (MOI) standards.
- Maintain compliance of all technical drawings with MOI - Security Services Department (SSD) requirements and project guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess 2 to 4 years of professional experience as an ELV Draftsman, especially working on CCTV projects.
- Mandatory expertise in 2D AutoCAD for drafting purposes.
- Strong understanding of CCTV systems, cable management principles, and ELV standards.
- Experience working on MOI-related projects in Qatar is considered a valuable asset.
