Job Overview
This role involves supervising the planning, inspection, storage, mobilization, and upkeep of drilling, completion, and well intervention tools to ensure operations run safely, efficiently, and without interruption. The coordinator ensures equipment readiness, accuracy of inventory, QA/QC conformity, and strict compliance with company health, safety, and environmental standards, supporting both onshore and offshore well operations.
Primary Duties
- Oversee warehouse activities and logistics related to drilling, completion, and well intervention equipment.
- Verify that all equipment is inspected, certified, fit for use, and ready prior to mobilization.
- Conduct quality assurance and control acceptance checks on new equipment to confirm alignment with technical specifications.
- Coordinate assembly, testing, and inspection procedures for completion equipment and components.
- Manage equipment movement, maintain precise inventory records, and handle SAP transactions for full equipment traceability.
- Monitor maintenance, calibration, certification, and repairs, including for pressure control equipment.
- Perform inspections at contractor and vendor sites, including pre-departure and post-return evaluations.
- Track equipment use and manage repair or replacement processes for damaged or missing items.
- Support offshore well intervention teams by prioritizing equipment needs and maintaining action lists.
- Ensure ongoing adherence to company HSE policies, procedural guidelines, and quality requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Have at least 10 years’ experience in drilling, completion, or well intervention operations within the oil and gas sector, including a minimum of 3 years of offshore experience.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of well intervention and completion equipment, logistics, warehouse management, QA/QC protocols, and SAP inventory systems.
- Experience in equipment certification, testing, upkeep, and pressure control equipment management.
- Holding an IWCF Level 2 certification is advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Middle Eastern or Asian languages is a plus.
