Role Overview

The dishwasher role is central to maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen and service areas. Dishwashers ensure that all tableware, cookware, and utensils are spotless and ready for use before, during, and after each shift, supporting a hygienic and well-organized environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and upkeep the dishwashing machine, ensuring it meets sanitation standards and promptly communicate any malfunctions.
• Properly wash, store, and rotate all tableware, glassware, cookware, and utensils.
• Manually clean pots, pans, and specialty items utilizing a three-compartment sink.
• Keep the dish room, kitchen, restrooms, and food preparation areas clean and orderly.
• Manage linen handling, waste removal, sweeping, mopping, and breaking down recycling boxes.
• Assist in receiving supply deliveries and restock shelves as needed.
• Provide flexible team assistance to facilitate smooth daily restaurant operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Capability to work efficiently in a fast-moving, high-volume restaurant setting.
• Comfortable standing for prolonged periods during shifts.
• Dependable, diligent, and dedicated to maintaining cleanliness.
