Role Overview
Based in London, the Digital Marketing Manager will be instrumental in shaping and executing Condé Nast's digital marketing strategies to fuel growth across subscription, membership, and e-commerce businesses. This position emphasizes data-driven decision-making to manage paid media campaigns, optimize channel performance, and enhance customer acquisition and retention metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies encompassing paid, owned, and earned media to drive brand awareness and consumer acquisition across all relevant channels.
- Lead the execution and management of marketing campaigns, overseeing budgets to achieve key performance indicators and revenue goals, while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with Partnerships and CRM teams to integrate cross-channel marketing initiatives, offering strategic guidance to maximize business impact and growth opportunities.
- Serve as the expert in paid media strategies, monitoring channel effectiveness and continuously optimizing to enhance ROI, customer acquisition cost (CPA), and lifetime value (LTV).
- Work with analytics teams to regularly evaluate performance metrics and identify insights, employing data to refine strategies and conducting test-and-learn experiments to guide future campaigns.
- Engage with data intelligence and CRM teams to ensure accurate audience targeting and optimal campaign configurations leveraging customer data platforms.
- Partner with creative teams and external vendors to develop compelling marketing assets that align with brand standards and drive campaign effectiveness.
- Forecast future performance trends and advise on strategic plan adjustments based on market developments and emerging marketing opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 7 years managing and optimizing digital paid media campaigns across platforms including Meta, Google, and TikTok, with proven capability in handling substantial advertising budgets and delivering ROI.
- Experience in client-side marketing within fast-paced B2C or DTC environments, ideally in sectors such as fashion, beauty, tech, or media.
- Familiarity with managing affiliate marketing programs like AWIN or Impact.
- Proven success managing external agencies and vendor relationships from briefing through budget management to performance review and optimization.
- Strong track record developing integrated marketing strategies that achieve acquisition and retention KPIs such as CPA and LTV.
- Deep understanding of holistic marketing mixes, including digital, CRM, partnerships, print media, and event marketing.
- Highly organized, commercially minded, and capable of balancing multiple priorities with project management and team mentoring skills.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills for navigating cross-functional priorities.
- Data-savvy marketer skilled at leveraging analytics tools to uncover insights, improve attribution models, and enhance overall marketing effectiveness.
