About the Role

As a Designer at Gensler, you will bring a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and business acumen to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet client needs. Your strong design background, supported by formal education and a portfolio showcasing innovative concepts, will position you as a key contributor to the design team, engaging in ideation and design analysis to enhance interior environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a design team throughout various project phases including client programming, concept development, schematic design, design progression, space planning, and construction documentation.
• Participate in selecting and presenting items such as furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color schemes, and lighting solutions.
• Assist fellow designers in creating finish plans, defining specifications, and choosing materials required for construction phases.
• Engage with external parties including consultants, product reps, furniture suppliers, and fabricators to support project delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Have between 0 to 3 years of interior design experience across diverse project types post-graduation.
• Demonstrate proficiency with software such as Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, and other 3D modeling tools.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is expected to be between $60,000 and $62,000 annually. Gensler provides a comprehensive compensation package that includes base pay plus two annual bonuses disbursed in June and December.
