Dental Assistant - No Nights or Weekends

Role Overview

Join Spa Creek Health as a Dental Assistant, offering both part-time and full-time roles that pay $22 to $26 per hour. This position focuses on assisting with dental procedures and patient care within a mobile practice that serves senior living communities. You will be part of a dynamic team providing on-site dental and hygiene services directly at senior care facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support dentists during various dental treatments.
• Prepare patients adequately before procedures.
• Set up and maintain instruments and equipment for dental care.
• Ensure strict compliance with sterilization and safety protocols.
• Clean, disinfect, and safely store dental tools post-use.
• Transport dental equipment and supplies between the storage office and care facilities.

Position Details

This mobile role requires arriving at the storage facility as early as 8:00 AM to load equipment. Typical workdays last between 8 and 10 hours, Monday through Friday, with no night or weekend shifts. Mileage and toll expenses incurred during transportation of equipment are reimbursed.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid x-ray certification is mandatory.
• At least two years of dental assisting experience is required.
• A positive attitude toward working with elderly patients is essential; prior geriatric experience is advantageous but not compulsory.
• Ability and willingness to transport equipment using personal vehicle; a standard sedan is sufficient, though SUV or crossover vehicles may be preferred.
