Role Overview

As a Data Scientist on the Data Analytics team, you will contribute your expertise to data science, visualization, analysis, and pricing strategies. Collaborating closely with a team that includes another data scientist, a data/pricing analyst, and senior external data consultants, your responsibility will be to interpret structured and unstructured data from various sources and convert it into actionable insights and practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and manage extensive datasets.
• Develop and refine recommendation systems.
• Create predictive algorithms and models.
• Present insights and reports to management and stakeholders.
• Use advanced data-mining techniques to guide strategic decision-making.
• Automate relevant business processes.

Candidate Profile

• Master's degree in Econometrics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two years in a similar data science role.
• Proficient in modern machine learning methodologies.
• Experienced with Python programming and SQL database management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Previous exposure to retail or e-commerce industries is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Tableau is beneficial.
• Experience with agile working methods is preferred.
