Data Collection Specialist

Overview

This contract role focuses on gathering high-quality motion and sensor data from a smartphone while completing assigned physical tasks. The position is fully remote and pays $13 per hour. The expected weekly commitment is 10 to 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect accurate motion readings from a phone’s IMU sensor set while carrying out designated physical activities.
• Capture matching video recordings so the sensor outputs can be checked and validated.
• Work strictly within the provided technical workflow to keep the data clean, properly labeled, and consistent.
• Submit completed data on time and in line with project targets and milestones.
• Stay in contact with the team to resolve questions and share feedback about the collection process.
• Complete the required device compatibility review and a custom AI-based interview.

Requirements

• A head strap must be available within 48 hours of the start date so both hands can be recorded.
• Ability to carefully follow standardized instructions and technical protocols.
• Track record of producing dependable work in a fast-moving, data-focused setting.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills for remote coordination and documentation.
• Comfort using mobile devices and strong overall digital fluency.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive movement-based tasks safely and accurately.
