Role Overview
The company is expanding and seeks to hire a Data Analyst to join their Planning Department based in the Dublin Head Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and verify data from project management software to maintain data accuracy across business units.
- Create and update Power BI dashboards and reports, providing real-time insights into cost, schedule, safety, and quality indicators for project teams and leadership.
- Develop data pipelines and automate reporting workflows to minimize manual tasks and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with project controls, commercial, and site teams to capture data needs and convert them into measurable KPIs and metrics.
- Analyze project data to detect trends, irregularities, and patterns, presenting findings in an understandable manner.
- Assist in constructing and improving forecasting models for business planning.
- Ensure data governance complies with organizational policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Between three and five years of experience in roles such as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or Project Controls Analyst.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, especially in dashboard creation and data visualization.
- Strong skills in Excel, Power Query, SQL, and data validation techniques.
- Exceptional communication abilities to liaise with stakeholders and transform business needs into effective KPIs and reports.
- Experience in the construction sector is desirable but not mandatory.
