Role overview
Aaratech Inc. is hiring a Data Analyst focused on banking and financial services to turn data into practical insights for banking operations, financial reporting, and business decision-making. The role centers on analyzing financial information, spotting patterns and risks, and supporting teams with accurate, timely analysis.
What you will do
- Collect, verify, and examine banking and financial datasets.
- Create reports and dashboards to track financial and operational results.
- Use data analysis methods to uncover trends, risk areas, and business opportunities.
- Work closely with business, finance, compliance, and technology stakeholders.
- Maintain data quality, consistency, and alignment with company standards.
- Prepare analytical reports and communicate findings to decision-makers.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- 3–4 years of experience in a Data Analyst role within banking, financial services, or a closely related sector.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization platforms.
- Practical exposure to financial data, reporting, and business analytics.
- Strong ability in analysis, communication, and problem-solving.
Preferred skills and tools
- Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence tools.
- Understanding of financial reporting, risk evaluation, and regulatory compliance.
- Basic familiarity with Python or R for analysis and automation tasks.
- Experience handling large financial datasets and SQL-based databases.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate are considered an advantage.
