Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, analysing, and interpreting data utilizing a broad array of analytical tools. Your insights will be communicated through precise reporting and data visualisations to aid strategic decision-making and foster ongoing enhancement throughout the organisation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain secure, dependable pipelines for gathering, storing, validating, and managing data from multiple channels.
  • Assess the accuracy, consistency, and dependability of datasets supporting business intelligence and insights.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of large datasets via SQL, Excel, and business intelligence platforms to detect trends, relationships, and irregularities.
  • Employ data analytics and visualization methodologies to facilitate business planning and performance assessment.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and visual reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent software.
  • Translate complex data into understandable narratives and visual infographics intended for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Compile and present reports and presentations that clearly and succinctly communicate analytical findings.
  • Create custom scripts or queries in languages such as Python or R to mechanize analytical or reporting processes.
  • Assist internal teams with ad hoc analysis, root cause investigations, and data-driven decision support.
  • Ensure all data management adheres to ethical guidelines, privacy laws, and governance policies.

Candidate Profile and Skills

  • Possess a Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Have a minimum of six years of professional experience working full-time as a Data Analyst.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and continuously enhance skills.
  • High attention to detail to deliver work of exceptional quality.
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, and at least one data visualization platform such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experienced with relational databases and handling extensive datasets.
  • Knowledgeable in data cleaning, data transformation, and statistical methodologies.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to convey complex data clearly and accessibly.
  • Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and governance standards to maintain data integrity.
  • Ability to simplify intricate data insights into actionable recommendations.
