Overview
The Customer Training Consultant plays a crucial role in developing and delivering effective training programs and resources tailored to educate both internal staff and external clients on symplr's Workforce solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct training sessions using diverse methods including in-person workshops, e-learning modules, quick reference guides, and virtual meetings to support clients and internal teams.
- Work closely with internal departments to analyze and improve curriculum delivery based on user feedback and needs assessments.
- Act as a subject matter expert on designated products and services, providing specialized knowledge and guidance.
- Collaborate with Instructional Design and Learning Technology teams to review and enhance new training content.
- Create, update, and disseminate comprehensive training materials such as user guides, job aids, videos, eLearning content, and knowledge base articles.
- Communicate best practices effectively and ensure quality delivery of training to both internal and external audiences.
- Address complex client inquiries or escalate issues appropriately to maintain service standards.
- Provide advice on optimal functionality and processes to help clients integrate symplr solutions seamlessly into their business operations.
- Continuously expand expertise in product knowledge, functional areas, and industry trends via training, research, and teamwork.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure outstanding service and client satisfaction.
- Adhere to departmental standards and operational procedures to optimize efficiency within the team.
- Complete all required administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Travel is required up to 25% of the time.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- Minimum of two years' experience in training, teaching, or instructional roles.
- Proficient technical skills, including a strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experienced in delivering technical content successfully in both classroom and e-learning settings, coupled with a consultative approach.
- Excellent presentation capabilities and proven aptitude in client consultation.
- Strong project management skills paired with strategic thinking and the ability to guide clients through organizational change.
- Preferred experience in healthcare industry, credentialing verification, or compliance sectors.
- Experience in training related to Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
Compensation
The position offers an annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 USD.
