Job description

Overview

This part-time role is based at Hunter Bingo, Hunter Army Airfield in Georgia, supporting the U.S. Army Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) activities. The position focuses on maintaining cleanliness and orderliness through custodial duties, involving the use of industrial cleaning equipment and supplies.

Key Duties

  • Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, stripping, and polishing floors using various powered equipment for both light and heavy-duty cleaning.
  • Sanitize restroom facilities, deodorize, clean walls, windows, blinds, ceiling fixtures, and other assigned areas, sometimes requiring the use of ladders, scaffolds, and safety belts.
  • Empty trash receptacles and maintain adequate stock of cleaning and room supplies to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and upkeep of cleaning machinery and tools to ensure operational readiness.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned to support facility upkeep and environment quality.

Applicant Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must be U.S. Citizens, Nationals, or individuals legally tied to the U.S., including non-U.S. nationals with continuous residence in the U.S. or territories for three or more years prior to employment.
  • Physical capability to perform detailed cleaning tasks and operate mechanical cleaning equipment; must pass a physical exam and meet the physical standards of the role.
  • Required to have Direct Deposit setup and provide a Social Security card.
  • Completion of background investigations including a Tier 1 background check and employment verification (E-Verify) is mandatory.
  • A probationary period of one year may be imposed.
  • Applicants should possess the skills to maintain tools and equipment, keep work areas tidy, and communicate clearly both in writing and verbally.
  • No formal education qualifications are mandatory for this position.
