ఉద్యోగ వివరణ
Position Overview
This role involves the design, development, implementation, coordination, and continual evaluation of the academic curriculum specifically for PhD programs in Biomedical Sciences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, structure, develop, and oversee the curriculum management for PhD Biomedical Sciences programs.
- Attend Curriculum Committee meetings while providing secretarial assistance, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and managing follow-up actions.
- Liaise with course instructors, module leaders, and thesis supervisors to ensure seamless delivery of courses.
- Support the creation and regular updating of course descriptions, syllabi, expected learning outcomes, and graduate study guides.
- Organize and schedule academic activities such as lectures, seminars, lab sessions, and research skills workshops for each term.
- Maintain and upload educational materials on the Learning Management System, such as Moodle, and aid in the development of digital and blended learning content.
- Coordinate access to research labs, facilities, and specialized equipment necessary for academic activities.
- Assist in planning and managing qualifying exams and other PhD milestone assessments, including scheduling, examiner coordination, and record keeping.
- Facilitate curriculum mapping to ensure that learning outcomes, teaching methods, and assessments are aligned across all coursework.
- Lead cycles of curriculum review along with preparing necessary documentation for accreditation by bodies such as NCAAA or WFME.
- Update and manage the PhD program handbook and all academic policy documents related to the curriculum.
- Adhere to all related hospital policies and procedures.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training activities.
- Perform any other related tasks assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Master’s degree in Training & Education, Health Administration, Medical Education, Health Education, or another closely related area is mandatory.
- A minimum of four years’ professional experience post-Master’s degree is required.
