Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and manage credit risks within retail and small business lending portfolios.
• Monitor credit portfolio performance and relevant risk metrics, providing recommendations to ensure alignment with risk appetite and business goals.
• Participate in designing and automating credit risk reporting, analytics, and governance, ensuring clarity, data accuracy, and strong portfolio risk oversight.
• Supervise the effectiveness of credit risk tools relative to business objectives, driving data-backed improvements to risk rule frameworks and affordability calculations for sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
• Define requirements for lending automation initiatives and assist in translating business needs into precise technical specifications.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum three years’ experience in credit risk management for retail banking or SME lending, with exposure to credit policy formulation, risk model development, or automated decision-making systems.
• Proficiency with credit scoring systems, risk engines, and decision tools; familiarity with data analysis tools like SQL and Python, with MS Power BI considered advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate credit portfolio performance and formulate data-driven strategies balancing growth with risk mitigation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams to implement risk initiatives that impact business outcomes.
• Experience in standardizing and automating credit risk reporting to support informed portfolio management.
• Academic credentials in economics, finance, business management, statistics, or data science preferred.
• Fluency in English and the local language (spoken and written) is essential for Pan-Baltic communication.
