Overview
Meta is looking for an experienced Creative Director to shape the visual identity and brand storytelling for meta.com, our premier global online retail platform. This position combines brand narrative, e-commerce conversion strategies, visual design, and AI-driven innovation, with an emphasis on Go-to-Market initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with designers across disciplines, creative technologists, and engineers to deliver engaging digital shopping experiences that highlight our hardware products' value and capabilities. The role demands a balance of captivating creative direction and commercial effectiveness, with a deep understanding of e-commerce performance and generative AI integration to enhance creative workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creative execution of GTM campaigns on the website, including landing pages, product launches, seasonal promotions, and merchandising content that translate strategy into immersive customer experiences.
- Work with product management, design, and marketing to define and maintain a clear, compelling GTM creative vision that ensures consistent brand messaging and storytelling across platforms.
- Develop a unified creative approach that harmonizes premium branding with usability, accessibility, and sales performance metrics.
- Produce persuasive design concepts and narratives that showcase the influence of creative leadership and content systems on e-commerce experiences.
- Manage cross-team collaborations to simplify complex requirements into engaging solutions that satisfy diverse stakeholder needs.
- Foster a culture of high-quality craftsmanship and creative excellence within teams.
- Partner with product and engineering to identify and implement enhancements that elevate brand representation and optimize customer shopping journeys.
- Direct the creative aspects of photography, videography, and 3D render productions supporting GTM and ongoing commerce needs, overseeing briefing, quality control, and cross-market consistency.
- Build scalable storytelling frameworks involving imagery and motion assets that build consumer trust, clarity, and facilitate confident purchases.
- Guide the adaptation of creative content for multiple global markets to ensure relevance and utility.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Over a decade of leadership experience in creative direction, interaction design, UX, and visual design across web and mobile platforms.
- Extensive cross-functional collaboration experience with product, design, engineering, research, marketing, merchandising, and content teams.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and enhance product and brand experiences through strategic visual direction.
- Competence in employing AI tools to aid concept ideation, large-scale image asset creation, and innovation in creative workflows.
- Experience launching scalable e-commerce or consumer product platforms across vast catalogs, regions, and frequent GTM cycles.
- Strong grasp of design systems and brand principles impacting UX/UI, communication flow, and information architecture.
- Background in varied creative styles such as photography direction, animation/motion graphics, and interaction design.
- Experience managing creative production workflows involving agencies, freelancers, and external partners for photo, video, and 3D assets.

Compensation Details
The annual salary ranges from $177,000 to $248,000, supplemented by bonuses, equity, and benefits. Actual pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This salary range reflects base pay exclusive of additional incentives.
