Job Overview

This role involves providing courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery services on designated routes, ensuring all shipments conform to company service standards, and delivering excellent customer support.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and collect packages along assigned routes professionally and on schedule
Verify shipments meet specified Federal Express Canada service requirements
Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and support

Required Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or an equivalent educational credential
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record meeting company standards
Capability to lift packages up to 70 lbs and handle packages exceeding that weight up to 150 lbs using appropriate aids
At least one year of customer-focused business experience preferred
Successful completion of pre-employment driver assessment training with a minimum threshold
Familiarity with Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs rules is advantageous
Effective interpersonal and communication abilities
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment
Flexibility to work various schedules including holidays according to business demands

Additional Details and Conditions

This is a permanent full-time position
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:50 AM to 3:20 PM, totaling 7.5 hours per day
Applicants residing in Quebec must be bilingual (English and French)
Compliance with safety and operational policies including mandatory testing, training, and maintaining certifications annually
Driver's license requirements include a valid class 5, G, or 1[AZ] license and driving record with no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months
Candidates are assessed based on driver's abstract, interviews, and driver competency evaluations
