Role Description
The Coordinator will assist with planning and executing festival initiatives such as tours, workshops, exhibits, family-friendly and community events. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders including heritage organisations, government bodies, schools, community groups, and corporate partners to ensure the successful delivery of festival activities.
The position also covers volunteer management aspects such as recruitment, onboarding, coordination, engagement, and recognition. Management of digital platforms and content updating including website, social media, and promotional materials is required. Additional responsibilities include supporting marketing efforts by liaising with agencies and vendors, overseeing logistics like scheduling, ticketing, vendor coordination, and onsite event management.
Post-festival functions include monitoring key performance indicators, reporting, stakeholder follow-up, organizing appreciation events, and handling administrative tasks such as procurement, payment processing, and documentation. The Coordinator will provide general administrative and operational support including meeting coordination, progress tracking, and record maintenance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum two years of professional background in arts, heritage, culture, events management or related fields.
- Familiarity with government administrative procedures, procurement, and financial processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Ability to juggle multiple stakeholders and simultaneous projects with creativity and adaptability.
- Competent to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly salary of SGD 3,500
