About the Role
This position is based on Ummahat Island 1, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia, working full-time onsite in the culinary field as a Cook II within a renowned luxury hospitality group. The role belongs to the Food and Beverage & Culinary category and is classified as a non-management position.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking by portioning, cutting, and storing as required.
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately following recipes and standards.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation guidelines, and preparation checklists.
- Prepare cold dishes and operate kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
- Check food doneness through testing and continuously monitor food quality during preparation.
- Organize and clean the food preparation area, including kitchen spaces, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment.
- Ensure correct temperatures for appliances and food storage are maintained and verified.
- Portion and serve food appropriately in suitable containers.
- Adhere to all company policies including safety and security procedures, report maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to supervisors, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance with proper uniform and personal grooming standards.
- Keep confidential information secure and protect company assets.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with others, foster positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond respectfully to colleagues' concerns.
- Follow quality expectations and standards rigorously.
- Be capable of standing, sitting, walking, bending, twisting, lifting, and reaching overhead or below the knees during long shifts, and handle items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

- Experience: At least one year of relevant work experience.
