Content Relationship Manager - Research Data, ASEAN Region

Role Overview

Bloomberg's data business thrives on innovative delivery of vital information powering its products globally. The Content Acquisition (CA) team plays a crucial role in securing premium data from brokers, exchanges, banks, and content partners to serve Bloomberg's offerings. Within CA, the Research team manages research and estimates products spanning multiple asset classes, integral to investment decision-making for market participants.

The Content Relationship Manager based in Singapore will oversee sell-side and other key content partnerships across ASEAN. The position involves acquiring and managing research & estimates content while aligning content coverage with Bloomberg's core product strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with research content providers, negotiating favorable deals for high-value content.
• Lead acquisition, distribution, and adoption of research content to enrich Bloomberg's research products and customer experience.
• Guide partners on content strategies using insight into content consumption to maximize exposure and usage.
• Work closely with product and technology teams to enhance content reach and delivery.
• Act as regional expert identifying market trends, coverage deficiencies, and opportunities to refine content strategy.
• Drive thought leadership and participate in industry events to strengthen partner relationships and Bloomberg's market presence.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in data technology, finance, or equivalent qualifications.
• At least 4 years of experience in sales or relationship management in financial services, preferably with sell-side, buy-side, brokers, or market data firms.
• Minimum 1 year experience in investment research workflows and content ecosystems.
• Proven ability to manage senior and C-level stakeholders fostering long-term partnerships.
• Skilled in executing strategic initiatives and collaborating with internal and external teams to achieve objectives.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel within the ASEAN region as required.
• Demonstrated progressive career advancement within an organization.
