Construction Technician (Preservation & Maintenance)

Role and Responsibilities

• Safeguard that construction projects adhere to safety protocols, international industry standards, project timelines, and sequencing plans.
• Demonstrate strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices by actively leading safety meetings and training sessions.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of construction techniques, quality control, and inspection relevant to the discipline.
• Champion quality workmanship ensuring installations are completed correctly on the first attempt.
• Strictly enforce site work regulations and safety rules at all times.
• Follow standardized procedures and construction methodologies to maintain consistency.
• Maintain transparent and approachable communication within teams.
• Conduct daily on-site inspections to ensure compliance with housekeeping standards, taking corrective action when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Minimum of two years hands-on site experience in direct hire construction roles within international Engineering & Construction companies, specifically in oil and gas preservation activities.
• Proven capacity to independently tackle complex problems and provide expert guidance.
• Educational background in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
