Overview

As a Community Associate, you'll play a crucial role in shaping customer engagement and brand perception across social media platforms, particularly managing DraftKings' presence on X (formerly Twitter).

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly and empathetically respond to customer inquiries on DK Assist social channels, ensuring accurate, high-quality support.
• Develop engaging, timely social media content aligned with DraftKings' brand voice to promote conversation and positive customer sentiment.
• Collaborate closely with Social Media and Customer Experience Teams to maintain message consistency and a smooth customer journey across social platforms.
• Monitor trends and emerging topics to proactively engage the community with relevant and compelling content.
• Transform routine customer interactions into meaningful brand-building moments, balancing support with community growth.
• Implement social platform best practices to increase engagement, deepen community ties, and reinforce trust in the DraftKings brand.
• Work a rotating schedule that includes weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure comprehensive social media coverage.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience in a customer-facing role.
• Competent copywriting skills with a track record of creating engaging real-time and evergreen social media content.
• Familiarity with DraftKings’ product offerings, customer experience, and player community.
• Strong grasp of social media platforms, internet culture, and current trends.
• Excellent written communication, capable of adapting tone while maintaining brand consistency.
• Ability to multitask and make considerate decisions under fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Premiere is advantageous.

The base salary for this full-time role ranges between 56300 and 70400 USD annually, supplemented with bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation varies by location, skills, experience, and education. Massachusetts law prohibits lie detector tests as a condition of employment or continuation.
