Co-Founder Creative Director

Role Overview

Baseet Studio is hiring a Creative Director to join as a co-founding partner in building a new consumer platform for the UAE market. This is a founding equity-only opportunity for someone who wants to help shape a company from the earliest stage rather than take on a freelance, contract, or salaried assignment.

The selected person will lead the product’s creative direction and brand expression from the outset, influencing how the platform looks, feels, and communicates across every customer interaction.

What You’ll Do

• Set the brand direction and continue refining it as the product evolves.
• Build and manage the design system.
• Create UI and UX designs for web and mobile experiences.
• Own product design and overall user experience.
• Develop marketing visuals and campaign creative.
• Define the visual style for social media.
• Design landing pages and promotional assets.
• Work directly with the founders to guide product decisions.
• Help create a memorable brand, not just a functional app.

What the Team Is Looking For

The ideal candidate thinks in connected systems, values user experience, and enjoys solving product challenges through design. A strong portfolio showing UI/UX work and visual design is important, along with experience building brand identities.

Comfort with modern design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite is expected. Backgrounds in consumer products, marketplaces, SaaS, or e-commerce are considered an advantage.

This role suits someone with a founder’s mindset who can handle ambiguity, move quickly, and contribute as part of a founding team.

Equity and Vesting

This position offers equity only and does not include a salary or stipend. The equity follows a 2-year vesting structure. Half of the equity vests after the first year, while the remaining half vests gradually during the second year. Equity cannot be sold or transferred before the agreed company milestones and liquidity events, as outlined in the Founders’ Agreement.

Additional Information

Candidates may be based anywhere, though being located in the GCC or UAE is an added advantage. This opportunity is intended for someone seeking long-term value creation alongside the founding team.
