Cloud Solution Architect - Ru'aa Program at Microsoft

Program Details

The Ru'aa internship is a comprehensive 6-month full-time engagement structured into two main stages:

• Phase 1 (1 month) - Onboarding & Skilling: Introducing Microsoft’s culture, mission, strategy, and obtaining globally recognized Microsoft certifications through technical and professional development courses covering project management, interpersonal skills, creativity, innovation, and time management.
• Phase 2 (5 months) - On-the-Job Training: Active CSA intern role involving hands-on shadowing, mentorship, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and advanced trainings in AI, Machine Learning, and Cloud Computing.

Key Responsibilities

• Employ foundational architectural knowledge for designing solutions that meet IT and business requirements, addressing technical challenges.
• Serve as the customer’s voice by gathering and communicating feedback on technical capabilities and potential limitations to relevant internal teams.
• Collaborate in solution proposals and design sessions to demonstrate viable technical approaches focused on specific products.
• Contribute to research initiatives and customer/partner needs assessments related to intellectual property or process adaptations.
• Engage in external architecture community events to learn and share insights internally.
• Participate in architectural designs and optimizations that enhance deployment resilience and maximize customer value, ensuring well-structured environments and applications.

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing or hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Must be a Saudi national with legal authorization to work in Saudi Arabia.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Preferred but not required: certifications in Cloud technologies (e.g., Azure) and Change Management (e.g., Prosci).
• Demonstrated passion for technology, customer focus, excellent stakeholder engagement abilities, and strong analytical and presentation skills.
